The portal is expected to be unavailable between 4pm on Saturday, August 26 and 2pm on Sunday, August 27.

If you use the Social Security Direct website, you should know that the portal will be temporarily unavailable over the weekend due to a technical intervention, the Social Security Institute (ISS) announced this Friday.

“Social Security informs that, due to a scheduled technical intervention in its Information System, the Segurança Social Direta (SSD) portal will be unavailable, foreseeably, between 4pm on Saturday, August 26 and 2pm on Sunday, August 27,” reads a note published on the ISS website.

This intervention, explains the ISS, “aims to improve the quality of the digital services available, seeking to bring citizens and companies closer together and provide greater convenience and efficiency in their relationship with Social Security”.
