The Super Cup, between champion Benfica and FC Porto, winner of the Portuguese Cup, will be played on August 9, in Aveiro, the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) announced today.
The two finalists had agreed not to play the previous weekend, on which the event was scheduled to be played, due to World Youth Day, which takes place from August 1 to 6.
Initially the FPF had put as possibilities August 08 and 09, announcing now the definitive date for the dispute of the trophy.
The match, which will again be played at the Aveiro Municipal Stadium, will start at 20:45.
