According to a source from the Central Alentejo Sub-Regional Command of the National Authority for Emergency and Civil Protection (ANEPC), at 8:30 AM the road was closed for cleaning.
The incident did not cause any casualties, the source added.
At 8:41 AM, according to the information available on the ANEPC website, 21 firefighters and other authorities were at the scene, supported by seven vehicles.
